PhD student, Paula Blanco Sanchez of the Energy Research Institute (ERI) was awarded to carry out experiments at the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN), Petten, through an initiative called “Biofuels Research Infrastructure for Sharing Knowledge“(BRISK).

BRISK provides access at any of the 26 partners’ facilities via Transnational Access, to conduct experiments in laboratories located outside your home Country. Topics include thermal biomass conversion, biofuels and catalysis etc. Partners and facilities available can be accessed on the website (www.briskeu.com).

The project covers the cost of travel and subsistence and will pay for the costs of access and support for participants based in eligible countries (up to €1,400). You must contact the proposed host before submitting an application to discuss ideas and make provisional plans.
