Funding for Research into District Heating and Fuel Poverty

Dr Frin Bale, DTC student Ruth Bush and Professor Peter Taylor were awarded funding for the Chesshire Lehmann Fund to run a project looking at district heating and fuel poverty. The project will develop and promote an inexpensive and practical tool for use by local authorities and other city stakeholders to identify promising district heating sites that both maximise CO2 emissions reduction and help alleviate fuel poverty.
