Centre for Integrated Energy Research

Parkinson Court Poster Exhibition

From Monday 16th to Friday 20th April a group of students from the Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) in Low Carbon Technologies, the Energy Research Institute (ERI), and Faculty of Engineering took part in a poster exhibition in Parkinson Court at the University of Leeds. The exhibition was titled "What is the future of Energy in the UK?"

It was a great opportunity to showcase our research and expertise in Energy and to advertise ERI, the DTC, the Energy DTC Network, and the Faculty of Engineering to the public and the University as a whole.

Students, staff, and members of the public were able to come and view the posters throughout the week. The exhibition featured posters mainly on the subject of Energy. Areas covered included Energy from Waste, Hydrogen, Solar, Carbon Capture and Storage, Energy for Cities, Algae, and Biomass.

We received very good feedback from the event. Other students from the University commented that they found the posters "extremely interesting and well presented." We also received requests for information regarding the DTC and ERI from undergraduate students.
